Introduction
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while taking in the beautiful surroundings. In the afternoon, continue with the game drive along the Tarangire River, where many animals gather. Later in the evening, exit the park and drive to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight stay at Figi Lodge, located near the Ngorongoro area.
After an early breakfast, depart from Mto wa Mbu and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a day trip. Descend into the crater for a game drive in this unique ecosystem, home to a high concentration of wildlife including the Big Five. You may spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and a variety of other animals, along with abundant birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor near a hippo pool. After lunch, continue with a short game drive before ascending the crater. Later, begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
